Barney Frank is Letting us Down

Barney Frank is not going to run for re-election. At a time of national need, Representative Frank has decided that the effort of seeking re-election in the re-apportioned Massachusetts district would be too much work. About running again had the district lines remained close to the same Frank said “If the district had been substantially similar, I would have felt obligated to run again”.
With the retirement of Rep. Frank, you can be sure that the Dodd-Frank act will never have any muscle, and any that it had will be retired with Frank’s departure. The financial sector will be given free reign to continue running amok with the whole of the US economy, and that no one as knowledgeable as Frank will step up to stop them.
